Our Inclusive Football Mission
At Football Federation Kenya, we believe football is for everyone. Our mission is to create opportunities for all Kenyans to participate in the beautiful game, regardless of ability or background. We're particularly focused on developing programs for deaf athletes, ensuring they have equal access to training, competitions, and pathways to excellence.
Breaking Barriers: Football for the Deaf
In Kenya, there are over 600,000 people with hearing impairments. Many are talented athletes who simply need the right opportunities to shine. Our Deaf Football Initiative is creating those opportunities:
- Specialized training programs with sign language interpreters
- Regional leagues for deaf athletes across all 8 regions
- Partnerships with schools for the deaf to identify talent early
- National deaf football tournaments and talent identification camps
